Instrument Current Transformers
Transformers comply with IEEE C57.13 industry standard for instrument transformers in the US and Canada. They are certified to meet accuracy from 10% of nominal current to rating factor. The transformers are encapsulated into recognized plastic housings and epoxy potted to meet mechanical requirements.
Application
Instrument current transformers are precision devices designed to accurately meter current on an electrical circuit. They provide a means to protect the metering instrumentation from the power available in the circuit, safely isolating secondary control circuitry from high currents.
End Product applications include: Motor Control Centers, UPS Systems, Utility Metering, Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear.
